Kundasang

Golden Valley
The farming town of Kundasang is the highest settlement in Malaysia at 1900 metres above sea level. It is also the nearest town to Mount Kinabalu. On a clear day, one will be able to view the mountain, enthroned as a majestic backdrop to this golden valley. The vastness of this undulating valley stretches beyond the limit of the visual field, and as my gaze swoop from one corner to the other, I can't help but imagine being an eagle soaring high above this breathtaking terrain.

Kundasang Valley
The clouds that float by cast a perpetual light and shadow play amongst the plots of land below. There, various shades of green encrusted in fertile earth and interrupted by corrugated zinc roofs of farm houses, create a pastoral scene, worthy of Beethoven's Symphony No. 6.
